Nature is a mutable cloud which is always and never the same.
~ Ralph Waldo Emerson ~
“You might think “companion” refers to a person with whom you share experiences, but the definition is much broader.”
It would be too easy to use photos of los Dos Gatos for this challenge; after all they are our constant companions.
Instead I’ve chosen to highlight the view from our back porch and the companionship of the morning sky as it tried to push the gray clouds away. We had torrential rains for most of the day yesterday that have caused many of the rivers in the district to overflow. Seeing the blue sky and greeting the sun, even if it is just a peek, was very pleasant and gives a hint of things to come. If you look closely you may even see the ocean through the trees.

I enjoy the companionship of a good morning as well, especially when I have a cup of tea in my hand and all is quiet.

Me too, but we have the birds and the roosters usually singing a song too. 🙂

Honestly this is a great interpretation of the prompt. The beauty of a stunning sky is truly companionable.
Gracias! We’ve had prettier morning skies but after the rain it’s nice to get even just a little slice of sunshine. 🙂
