Compassion

Compassion
1. a deep awareness of and sympathy for another’s suffering
2. the humane quality of understanding the suffering of others and wanting to do something about it

Last weekend, Barcelona’s youth team won an international U12 tournament. They beat the lads of the Japanese club, Omiya Ardija in the last game. The Omiya Ardija boys, visibly upset by the loss, broke down in tears.   This led to this charming twinkling of compassion and sportsmanship as the victors consoled the losers.

I couldn’t help but share this heartwarming video that is circulating around the interweb…from the campo.

those young boys are such gracious winners and this was beautiful – we have seen some cocky players over the years – and those boys had tenderness – thanks for sharing!

How could I not share once I saw it? And I watched it a half dozen times already. 😋 Thanks for reading and commenting!

I can see why you watched it that much – so much happens so quickly – anyhow – it reminds me as to how painful some of these huge events can be – the sweet victory too –

I'd love to hear from you!
