Dos Gatos are Double Trouble

We see double often in this house, particularly when Dos Gatos are showing their hind ends to us.

Identification of the Dos Gatos Brothers from the back entails going through the checklist.  Boomer’s coat is browner and shorter; Bandit’s fur is blacker and longer.  Boomer’s belly sags a little lower, and he is a little smaller,  Bandit is sturdier and more athletic looking (if one could say that of a cat). Boomer’s tail is skinnier than his brother’s,  Bandit’s tail fluffs out more than his brother’s.

No matter what when the mood strikes, they are Double Trouble…in the campo.

The theme for day nineteen of Blogging U, Photo 101 is; “Double & Rotation”.  I’ve discovered that I like using black and white when photographing Dos Gatos.  It makes their stripes and markings more prominent.  They are my most patient photographic subjects, especially when they are sleeping.  I also took a header image that wouldn’t normally fit and rotated it so it did.

Thank you. After initially waking and surveying their territory at 6:00 a.m. they don’t usually come back to life until “Happy Hour”around 5:00 p.m. Some days they surprise us though and get a little goofy. 🙂
