Talk Thursday ~ Salt in the Ocean

Yep folks, there’s salt in the ocean and as my mind works in weird ways I went on the search for the reason.  Let’s call it channeling the three-year old inside of me; “Why, why, but why?”

The salinity or concentration of salt in the water varies in our area depending on the time of year and how much rain there has been.  Less rain, less salt, more rain, more salt.  For a simplified explanation I’ve found this talk video on YouTube and…in the campo.

  1. Does this hold true also for us “Ole Salty Dogs”, as we are referred to in the Navy, if we go out in the rain without an umbrella?
