The best thing one can do when it’s raining is to let it rain.                                    ~ Henry Wadsworth Longfellow ~

For some it may just be rain. For us it is welcome relief from the heat and dust. Bring on the rain...

  1. I was thinking how you met me when I biked down in case I couldn’t find your house. I could find it all right, just go past the park and a bit more, and look for the house that looks like a botanical garden! I don’t think anyone has as many beautiful plants and flowers as there are in your yard.
We got rain today too. Isn’t it great! We were melting and now it’s so much better, and of course the yard loves it too.

Yes, even though the rains bring on the bugs it is welcome relief. It was just overcast today but it’s started sprinkling now. 🙂

The whole town was without electricity and water for about seven or eight hours today. Thank goodness for the generator, Eric got the water moving from the tank so we could wash lunch dishes.

Wow. If this is your garden, it’s gorgeous. Nice work mastering tropical gardening!!! Pam

Yes, that’s just a corner of our little back yard. Eric’s in the process of cutting everything back because it grows so fast during Wet Season. It looks very barren in front compared to what it was but in a few weeks it will look like a jungle again. The local farmer has let some of his cows out and they were there with their babies sniffing around our back fence tonight for anything green and fresh. Poor things, luckily it won’t take long for the green grass to grow with the rains.

I'd love to hear from you!
