Friday Afternoon Visitor

Late yesterday afternoon SU was out in the back garden when he noticed something strung along the fence.

Upon closer look it appeared to be a beautiful Green Vine Snake who at first was just a curious about us as we were about it.

52 3Then it headed over to the banana plants.

4And when we tried to get a closer look once again, back over to blend into the limón tree where it quickly disappeared up in the higher reaches; a beautiful and a fast little snake in the campo.

I saw a Panamanian kill one of these green snakes. Their philosophy is the only good snake is a dead snake.

    Great photos, thanks for sharing!

  3. What joy to watch this snake maneuver around the fence!

He moved so fast I couldn’t get the camera focused to catch him. He was really gorgeous as snakes go and seemed to have a little bit of a personality.

  4. Oh wow, how beautiful! Funny, we had one on our fence here just like that. What a beautiful snake.

I'd love to hear from you!
