Doing the Iguana Twist ~ WP Photo Challenge

I love animals of any kind.  Our pets have brought much joy to my life and now that we live out in the country I consider the birds and other critters in the campo to be my “extended” pet family.  They are often unpredictable but all are beautiful in their own unique way; even the loud toad that has taken up residence in the tubing of our neighbors fence.

Last June we had an inundation of Hummingbird Moths in our garden.  At first I wasn’t sure what these interesting flying things were, bird or insect.  These are two of my favourite photos out of all the pictures that I took of this interesting creature.  But the twist is not the moth, look a little closer…all is revealed in the second photo.

Focusing on the moth...

Twist more…you might just enjoy it!

LOL! I didn’t either at first until I looked at the picture. He was quite happily still there when I looked closer and focused in on him. 🙂
