College students from Panama Thrown into their Studies and Winter in Canada

I found this article from a Windsor ON newspaper and thought I would share it with my readers.

Students from seven Regional Centers of Technological University of Panama (UTP) received scholarships to study at the University St. Clair College in Windsor through the Scholarship Program in Development and Application of Web and Sustainable Energy.  I guess the reasoning behind sending them in the dead of Winter is that a new school term is about to start in Panama.   Keep in mind that anything lower than 23° C in Panama is cause to bring out the long sleeves.  Kudos to those 37 kids for arriving during the worst part of the year!
