YYC Flood

Reblogging photos of some of the faces involved in cleaning up after the Calgary flood. Check them out!

Well here we are in the clean up stage in Calgary after a flood devastated Southern Alberta this past weekend. I went out into some of the hardest hit communities along the Elbow river to see how much damage there was, and there was a lot. Some people lost everything in their homes, and it was for some it was very somber, but the silver lining in it all was the way Calgary pulled together for each other. Friends and family all showed up to lend a helping hand to the those affected by the River.

and the Red Cross is also accepting donations. Or take a page out of the many of the volunteers book and just head down and help someone who needs it, lots to be done.
