Weekly Photo Challenge: Future Tense ~ Mom/Grandma

Grandmothers are the people who take delight in hearing babies breathing into the telephone.  ~ Unknown ~

One of the suggestions for this weeks photo challenge was: Anything that involves the present and a hint of the future all in one frame.

I couldn’t think of anything that made me think of the future more than a picture that was taken last April at my mother’s 75th birthday.  In it she is surrounded by all her grandchildren; her future.

Mom with Grandkids

Grandma, Nanna, Granny, Gran, Baba, Yia Yia, Nonna, Nainai, Laolao etc. In español the caption would read “Abuela y Nietas”.  I’ll probably hear about how I shouldn’t have posted a picture of her but isn’t she beautiful with all her pride and joys surrounding her?
