Dusk in the Campo

We had a beautiful sunset tonight.  We also had a visit from a hummingbird that seemed to want to stay and pose for pictures.  The cattle also came to graze at dusk and we figured out where they are getting through to come to our side.  The young vecino from down and across the road (he of the drum playing little brother) brought his dogs over to chase the herd back into the pasture.

We had a short power outage while we were eating supper.  It lasted long enough for us to get out our swanky new lights that Mom sent.  Mama, you’ll be happy to know that they glow brightly.

Click on the pics if you’d like to see them bigger.  And to all a good night.

Great pics! That looks like the hummingbirds that come here too. Love the vacas in the neighborhood, and the sunset was beautiful.

I think that we’ve got a few varieties. This one is a bit bigger than some that I get out in the front garden. They sure are entertaining little farts though.

I'd love to hear from you!
